Minus some process frustration, I've had an overall good experience with this hospital and its staff in the many times I've been here, for either the ER or simple appointments. Obviously when something goes wrong the effects on the patient experience can snowball into something terrible really quickly, though, so I wish they had more real time admin support to be reviewing cases as they occur so the medical staff can catch issues in advance of them happening. I had to go to the VA ER. Full disclosure- I am not an easy patient. I have taken out my IV and left the hospital more than a few times. Yesterday was no exception. I've been a medical mystery for a very long time. I'm frustrated and I want answers. Yesterday was no exception. I said alot of things, that I regret. The staff was professional, but I knew that they would glad to be rid of me. Then, too my surprise, the doctor came back and approached me with a totally different attitude. Most unprofessional ER I have ever been in. A gross negligence of HIPAA over a hot mic and discussing patient like it's gossip. Your facility will face legal issues if you don't fix this. Not everyone in there is homeless and shouldn't be treated as homeless.
I was told if my father who is a veteran needed clothes he could fill out a form and turn it in. When i got there the man "in charge" was rude and treated us as if we were criminals trying to scam him and or the government, searching my father for things "visually " and proceeds to ask where is the brace, whats ripping his clothes. After all this i learn that there has to be a medical device ruining the clothes . How hard is that to say with a polite tone ,when exactly is he supposed to start treating a Veteran with dignity ... read more
WARNING WARNING WARNING: MICHELLE SINGH (NORTH 2 PSYCHIATRIST) Please click on the "lowest reviews" tab to see Michelle and her North 2 department have INTENTIONALLY pushed many people like myself to their breaking point. MICHELLE REFUSED MY CRITICAL MEDICATION, just to cause me hardship and chuckled in my face about it.
