Terrible place to work. Treat you like dirt do not respect veterans
I have called no less than 8 times and left messages 5 times with travel reimbursement regarding an appointment back in July that I have yet to be paid for. I have asked for a call back just to give me an update on what is going on, and when I might expect a deposit into my bank account. As of today, Sept 10th, I still have not received a call back. The absolute lack of customer service just goes to show how much the Prescott VA disdains the Veterans they are entrusted to care for.
LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP: We are so very happy this fallen hero was final recognized. God bless our military men and women in uniform and God bless all our veterans. Mr. President our HAMAV (Honoring America's Military and Veterans) Committee has reflected back so many times on "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN". We believe there are two areas that need a lot of attention that fall under your watch. Area one is the celebrating of Pride month in June of each year on Federal property namely Department of Defense and the Department of... read more

WE ARE COMPLETELY CRUSHED! Caregiver burnout is a very real issue and respite services are vitally needed to ensure continued A+ love and support to our loved ones, our VETS. Can you image providing 24/7 care for years on end? My husband is a hemipalegic who not only is confined to a wheelchair, but also suffers from many TBI like issues. We both were so excited for our upcoming respite retreat at the Prescott VA: for myself, a chance to see my family overseas and most importantly for my husband, who gets the opportunity to ... read more
I have always been treated well there. They remind me of appointments etc. Only once did I have a bad experience, and that was with one person who was surly on the phone. And THAT is not the fault of the VA.
Health Care for Homeless Veteran Garden...Thursdays at 11AM....
My Father has received the absolute best care possible by the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System located in Prescott, AZ! My sisters and I were caring for him up until we couldn’t anymore. The incredibly kind, very competent and truly compassionate staff has helped our family tremendously when we did not know where to turn. He was in the CLC for months and is now in hospice. We really can’t thank ALL of the CNAs, nurses, doctors, food attendants, shuttle drivers, janitors and our wonderful social worker enough! One more t... read more
I want to take a moment and thank the staff of the CLC 1 and CLC Hospice at the Prescott VA hospital. My father Richard Trevallee passed away yesterday after spending several years there. His care was nothing short of amazing. The nurses and staff became his extended family. The care they gave him and the friendship they gave him was nothing short of amazing. They helped to make his last days as good as they possibly could be. Living so far away made visiting difficult and I was so comforted to know how they cared for him. T... read more
