The best care available for Veterans even with these regressive policy's that are being forced on Vets by non-VA non-Medical influences.

Not sure if the People under the Director are afraid to let him talk to anyone so they don't give him messages or if he just refuses to take or return calls from people who use the facility and have found problems. You can't move on if you don't fix the problems you currently have and ignoring them won't make them go away!!! Ignoring me will not make me go away and I will keep fighting until problems start getting addressed! Unfortunately Poor is the lowest rating this has.

The employees in this hospital are the worse. Back stabbers and bitter. I worked there for almost a year as a CNA and a racist manager (Rita Jordan) fired me just before my one year probation was over. She never liked me. She said I abused a resident but she didn't tell me who or how did I do the abuse. Mary Puig in the Human Resources department said I was fired because I was too friendly. Rita said I touched a patient inappropriately while giving him a wirlpool shower. The man obviously has mental problems. He is very elde... read more

Prescott National Cemetery, Becky Durocher and her staff are the shining stars of the Prescott VA! On June 12, 2015 my husband was given a place of honor in the Memory Wall. Yesterday was SSG (Ret) Frank Hesyck's first angelversary. I am proud to report that on absolutely every encounter with Becky and/or her staff I have left comforted by the professionalism, compassion, excellent service and respect afforded myself and my husband. On Memorial Day, as I sat alone amid a sea of humanity to pay respects to my hero who died fo... read more

Fee basis has been renamed as NON VA Care. They are blocking eligible CHOICE veterans from getting their Choice card benefits in general and their Choice 40 in specific. This hospital NEVER answers their phones and wait three days when leaving a message. Patient advocate is DOA. Rethink a relocation to Prescott if you are a veteran needing treatment or outpaitent services. I wrote a congressional, contacted the local news channel, made a formal complaint with the inspector general, and the Manager, Congressional Relations & ... read more

I have to thank the Arizona VA for nothing. They do not return calls and have had nothing but problems with them. Over a year ago I was told that I needed to have my knees replaced. My right knee went out this past April and it took over 1.5 months before I got a MRI. To this date not one VA doctor has looked at my knee. Went to a surgeon on August 19 who was only authorized to shot my knee up and do a X-ray even though I need a knee replacement. A year ago I was told to lose 10 to 15 pounds before I could get the surgery, I... read more
