I have never felt so supported by a medical team before. Initially it looked like my surgery was going to be weeks out but they jammed me in on a Monday and got me put back together. 6 HOURS JUST TO TELL ME TO HOLD PRESSURE CALL LIGHT NEVER ANSWERED. I left surgery at 5pm today. Started bleeding and soaking the bandage by 7pm. Nurse on the phone tells me to go to the ER so I do. I get seen relatively quick. First Doctor introduces herself. She looks at my soft cast and tears the outer part off then says “oooo idk how to take this off let me talk to a podiatrist”.
