The Myrtle Beach VA is corrupt! In the last ten years I have had nothing but problems. Sudden stoppage of medication due to mistakes in the pharmacy that took over a year to correct. I've been charged many times for service connected treatment that went to collections after being told it would be taken care of. Wait times over an hour after waiting months for an appointment. Very frustrated with the care that my disabled veteran husband is receiving from this facility. He continues to get the run around, they sent him for a MRI to Conway hospital April 12th, we cannot get anyone to give him the results of the MRI, May 6th. He had to physically go to Conway hospital pick up the MRI results and Disc then we drive to the VA to physically turn in and they proceed to tell him that the facility does not have the capability to upload images that it would need to be sent to Charleston to be uploaded. Don't worry about these old timers who are grumpy and angry at the world. I'd rather go here than a regular hospital. Every time I've been met with hospitality and kindness. People that leave bad reviews usually get angry when it comes to being patient. We all have to understand that you can't snap your fingers and get answers. Or the fact that you have a number of other people waiting to be seen before you. (:
I've been in myrtle beach for a year.the service has been well below. It feels like people are getting paid to do nothing. You reach several departments and its almost the same. No productivity no follow and one of the providers refused to close a door during one of my visits and made it uncomfortable as I'm trying to request better privacy. That one guy in the comments said he goes to the clinic because they're "progressive". Hey thanks buddy that was on my must have list for health care providers too!!! My candy guy has to love knitting or I just won't have it!!!! Not on my watch bucko! You're going to have to get up pretty early in the morning to get one over on that "progressive" guy. Let me tell you! I'll bet when he grows up real big, he'll be a swell guy!
