The new travel pay system sucks. I was told I have to fill out a form EVERYTIME and submit it to the travel dept. then in 2-3 wks I might have the money?! Supposedly this helps veterans--how? It creates yet another form for the vet to fill out. Then we get to wait for it to show up. BS This rating system is set up so that there are no negative reviews lower than 1 star
Have had great service from the staff and facilities.
My husband has been given treatment at the Spokane VAMC, as well as, having been referred to Boise and Seattle. These were instances of critical care. When it comes to appointments or response time on secure messages this VAMC fails miserably. An example is an appointment for 21/2 months out from the time of a given test. Request for the status of the test goes unanswered. This has been an ongoing situation over the past 31/2 years that my husband has been receiving care here...they ignore the secure messages more often than... read more
I am a nurse that works for the VA and I absolutely love that I can give back to the Vets that gave me my freedom! I love my job! Thank you for your service~
