I have going there since 1997, and I have had several primary care and specialists doctors, LPN’s! I find most of the staff really cares about you, and a few don’t! Overall my experiences have been positive! I must have medical care to keep me somewhat active! I’ve adjusted my lifestyle and learned to adapt to my environment! VA has provided me with the equipment necessary to keep me mobile!

New users of the facility are provided very little information about parking vs the construction. While they have valet parking. they failed to tell us that there was transportation from the parking to the buildings. Worse. Mental health services is lacking in helpful and friendly people. First appointment over the phone the caller was rude and abrupt. Patient advocates do little more than make you feel less important than the facility itself. The Hospital admins don't bother to respond to complaints. And let's not forget th... read more

As a veteran, I thought I was entitled to medical help at a VA ER. Called their nurse help line to ask if 103.6 fever should be alarming enough to check into ER. The nurse told me that inatead of calling and wasting her time, I should google my symptoms, then she simply hung up on me. She was rude and disrespectful on the phone. She also "politely" achnowledged me that if I wanted medical attention, then I should probably go back to Colorado since thats where Im registered! Way to go, VA!

Take better care of our soldiers and dont have them waiting 5-8 hours for help breathing and other really bad problems. Had a VA nurse yell at ne for asking for help for him.
