Just moved to Elko from Silver City, NM. Got set up with an appointment very quickly for my husband. We have been contacted by the Salt Lake, UT and they have been very helpful setting everything up. The Elko VA staff has been polite and professional and we appreciate all they have done for us. Had first appointment with Elisa Brown and she was very polite, professional and helpful and had a good sense of humor. We are very pleased with the care that the VA has provided for the last couple of months here.
I waited 60 days for an appointment to have my knee looked at. By day 10 is was ok. Thanks for the prompt help, I really appreciate what the VA does for me. If your not mad you should be, this is your tax dollars at work for veterans. They spent more on the building then actually helping us.
It is a good place for veterans to get a handle on their healthcare.
