Shutting down this clinic and opening a new one would probably be in the best interest of all veterans and taxpayers. The initial nurse had me down as a new enrollee, even though I had been visiting there for about a decade. I received “New Patient” status after being seen less than a year ago, and also two months ago for medications. The “Nurse Practitioner” at this place has no business in treating anyone; she does not listen to anything one says, just follows a VA checklist. I've been going to the Altus BA Clinic for a few years now. The staff are very attentive people and the Medical Doctor is polite and professional. I am pleased to have only a short drive from my residence to access health care at the Clinic...!!
