My mom was 89 when she passed. She was a strong, proud, independent woman who in the last couple of months of her life got very sick. In and out of the hospital all of January with the flu and pneumonia, she just got weaker and weaker. Then a burst galbladder requiring surgery happened. My experience with VCare Hospice has truly been a blessing. The entire team has been wonderful, but I especially want to recognize my husband’s CNA, Maria. Maria is incredibly hands-on and takes genuine pride in the care she provides. My husband is in the late stages of dementia and requires around-the-clock support, and Maria has been nothing short of a godsend to my family.
