If Home Depot's my toy store, Uwajimaya's this local boy's candy and grocery store.
We find the best items to prepare our meals with at this location. I also like all the Hello Kitty merchandise. I admit to being a big Hello Kitty liker. The staff are very knowledgeable as well. Since I have studied Japanese language and culture in the past it seems fitting that I'd like to go to this big grocery store to find things I'd like to eat and use everyday. I hadn't been there in a while but it wasn't exactly what I remembered. Some of the shelves were bare, and I couldn't find what I wanted. Customer service was great though :)
Huge Asian market. Foods, seafoods, kitchen supplies and a bookstore. It was crazy busy New Years Eve. My kids liked it!
