Good source of art supplies The store is small but seems to have what I'm looking for. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and available. Prices are a little high, though. Plus, theres a small table that kids can draw and keep busy while adults shop.
Reasonably priced! THE store for any artist - novice to professional. The store has everything you need (and almost everything from the catalogue) at great prices, and it is conveniently located.
medium sized art store This art store is fairly well stocked. There are a lot of materials for painters which seems to be its focus. The pigments and paints are of a high quality although it is a bit expensive. They have occasional sales, and seem to usually have a sale in fall for the school year. It is a bit tricky to park here as it is located right on Santa Monica Blvd, but if it is close to you I would recommend it.
Just as good as the rest Smaller art supplies store, but still has most brands and products you may need for your projects. It's good to be on their mailing list as they send out brochures with sale info and coupons from time to time. Good customer service, prices are reasonable.
For the artist in you. Good supply of art products, including multi-sized canvases, brushes, oil and water paints, and other stuff. The staff is helpful and arent pushy, either. Especially cool for those taking their first steps into art experimentation. Also a good place to pick matt boards for photo framing projects.
Got me painting... Bought my first art supplies in this store: acrylic paints, watercolor canvas paper, brushes, etc. It is smaller and slightly more expensive than the art store across the street. I ended up returning the paint brushes for cheaper ones across the street that "guarantee" a better price. However, the service is wonderful and the staff is very knowledgeble and helpful, if that is more important to you than saving a few cents..
