It's everything I expect from the State Fair. It's fun, corny, and full of people watching. Anybody need some indestructible knives or pots and pans. Blue, red, and best of show ribbons everywhere. If you don't go in every exhibit bldg, and try your favorite fair food you wasted your time!
I decided to learn more about the pigs and goats this year. The farmers I spoke with were so nice and willing to answer a lot of my questions. I love the fair!!
We had a good time. Got our tickets for $8 at Smith's. Walked around and saw all the animals and displays. Ate strange and different, and delicious food. We enjoyed the bands and the dog show. Fun!
$10 just to park, $10 to get in, $20 for the wristband for rides that only covered maybe 5 rides, the others you have to pay for. WAY over priced, even the food was over priced, $5 for a small soda, $10 for funnel cake... I wanted to beat the crap out of the games people, not to mention one of the cow handlers that kept hitting one of the cows in the nose with a stick. I will never go to another one.
