My care was dangerously half-assed bordering on incompetent. I came in with viral bronchitis and the doctor decided that it was allergies because I had checked that box on the form even though none of the three people that had examined me had asked me anything about them. When I tried to tell the doctor that my condition had started in my eyes and spread to my sinuses and down my throat, not typical for allergies, I was given a lecture on antibiotic resistance like I was an idiot and accused of drug-seeking behavior.
