Cannot say enough good things about this facility. Needed advice on how to respond to a psychiatric episode that happened out of the blue. I walked in off the street without an appointment. They listened patiently and put everything in perspective for me, and suggested measures I might take to get back to normal. Thankyou ...
Staff are very friendly, so helpful and accommodating. Unless you've physically hurt yourself I'd definitely recommend coming here instead of the hospital
Entirely misrepresented as a “urgent mental health care centre.” The fact SA health endorses it, and the triage line encourages people in strife to go there is a joke. From the get go the staff were blunt, emotionless and seemingly poorly trained. After being taken to and essentially abandoned in their lounge space that is supposed to be “comforting” and “relaxing” when in fact it is heinously decorated with surface level, run-of-the-mill motivational quote posters better suited for a classroom or yoga studio.
