Drs. Fruit and Rudwell, and their staff, are wonderful human beings. I drive by at least a dozen vets on my hour drive to their practice. The atmosphere and the pace are both light and open. They're incredibly warm and welcoming, but are also education-minded and they embody the partnership ethos, working together to care for our dogs, giving them the very best lives possible. All the staff treated myself and my Great Dane, Bodhi, with nothing but professionalism, love for Bodhi ( 😉), and it is clearly apparent everyone there is knowledgeable and cares for the well-being of each pet brought in. Bodhi (weighing in at a little over 160+ lbs) instantly fell in love with Dr. Stedwell and Amanda. I am so happy I chose to come here and genuinely look forward to visiting again when needed. What a fantastic team. Lulu and Mac (my kitties) and I have a big crush on Urban Village. We were referred by a good friend (who is a vet), having left our previous vet because my concerns were dismissed. Not so here. Assistants and techs: all attentive and they track (remembering what's up with the kitties between visits, over the phone--they know exactly who we are). RecommendedUrban Village Veterinary Care graciously agreed to see our ailing kitty very last minute on Derby Day, as our regular veterinarian had closed early that day. The office staff and Dr. Rudwell were all wonderfully kind, and diagnosed our kitty with an infection (abscess under arm), and treated her with antibiotics in the clinic. Opal kitty is now back to her frisky self and doing well. I highly recommend Urban Village Veterinary Clinic, and would gladly make the switch should our current veterinarian retire or relocate.
I loved the attention my dog received from this fear free clinic. She’s a rescue from GRRAND and is fearful of new places and new people. The staff was wonderful with her. And the treats helped too! Thank you 😊
I have lived in Crescent Hill my entire life. I am so glad we FINALLY have a vet practice! And how warm and welcoming they are!!! Dr. Rudwell saw Max and was thorough and sweet. Highly recommend you take your loved ones to this new practice! You won’t regret.
