They either lie to you, or they just don't know what they are talking about and no one communicates with you properly. *********** Apartments is part of the affordable housing program which has strict guidelines that we must abide by. Each year every resident is required to recertify to be able to renew their lease. When recertifying, at times there can be things that have put the household out of compliance which would result in us being unable to renew the lease. This is outlined in the lease agreement to which an addendum is signed.
They Don't like to get complaints from Tenants that have the right to live in a peaceful clean, breathable and healthy apartment, Yet they allow Drugs like Meth and chemicals to be used in their apartments and when you complain, about having to breathe in these Drugs and chemicals they Retaliate and steal your Deposit, they set you up by changing up the rental portal, if you are smart, you'll stay far away from these GREEDY women!! The site staff has no way of manipulating the amount due on the resident portal. If you have any reason to think this was not your balance please refer to your deposit disposition which explains what steps you would need to take to dispute any charges and the time frame to do it in. They lie and Lure you in with fake immediate open rental units for a 1 bedroom. You pay $99.00 dollars for the application them have to go to the website and pick your apartment a one bedroom that does not show on the site yo pick. So you call and call to let them know only 3 bedrooms are available. They tell ok pick the 3 bedroom. We'll let corporate know you want a 1 bedroom. This place Charged me 90 dollars just to apply and then declined me within seconds after hitting the pay now button. Then informed me that they are working the problem and don't This is illegal you can't just rip people like this what do i do now

Lake Sumter Apartment Homes application policy is made clear and applicants are informed that there is a non-refundable App Fee and a Hold fee which is only refundable should an applicant be denied for specific items. All Applicants must be approved based on credit and background screening to which the application fee covers this cost. This is also stated in the application acknowledgment which is signed before any fees are paid.
This places charges a non refundable $250 charge just to apply. The apartments that you are applying for are not even available. This is a scam to collect these application fees. Please beware and do not get scammed like I was.
Terrible company. Stay away!!!!! They rope me in to apply and now wont approve me because of child support and they wont deny me because they dont want to give me my $400 fee back. Its been over a month.
I have been a resident for 4 years now , and I am finally ready to break my lease this year . They are very hard to communicate with and when you get a hold of someone , the staff in office is very inconsiderate and uncooperative to help you . I was added an unnecessary $95 late fee to my rent and the staff blames everything on the system and Concord Rents. Being that this is "low income , affordable rent housing " , they like to add other extra charges to your rent.
I was an actual vendor dealing with the cleanjng for 4 separate locations. I provided cleaning for Concord rental management each location managed by someone different. They were ecstatic with our services then we had two evictions to clean out at Cape Morris I contacted management on both because one was infested with cockroaches the other had drugs in it.
