I had been treated unsuccessfully for dry eye for 10 years at a different local eye care provider who diagnosed my condition. Last year I switched to UR Flaum West Webster and was seen by Dr. Shearer. She referred me to a UR Flaum eye surgeon for a simple test which determined my issue was blocked ducts, not dry eye. I required surgery which remediated my condition. I can’t express enough my gratitude to Dr. Shearer for her critical thinking skills which lead to the resolution of my long term discomfort.

DONT GO to his location 2000 empire blvd.I’m writing this review as I’ve already been waiting 30 mins for this doctor AGAIN. Dr Farugia is always late. When I go to the location 603 ridge road in Webster i NEVER have a problem, however if my doctor is booked I will go to the other Webster location 2000 empire blvd it, Dr FArugoa is ALWAYS late. This is the second time I’ve had to come here and again already 30 mins late and she just took the person next to me who was waiting 45 mins annoyed as well so I am sure I will have a... read more
