I was told in April I needed cataract surgery - told I would need to wait about 3 months. Called in July - was told by Lori “oh you know it’s so busy, Victoria’s aging population blah blah blah. Called again … Lori answered - same banal response. Told me she would follow up but never did. Finally got a call from the ophthalmologist in September, after I followed up and spoke with Lori again. Dr Wendy li has been nothing short of amazing with me over 5+ visits. She was very thorough with some complex issues and really cared about the health of my eyes. Best in the city.
I was less than 10 minutes late for my appointment (coming from Sidney in a storm) and they wouldn’t take me. The doctor actually left on an errand. They must have left right away. That’s terrible.
The staff are amazing the doctor is fantastic funny but very professional. I was at ease being there and appreciated everything.
