Dr. Larsen is very good with children with autism.
I love Dr. Larsen. I come out of each appointment with new knowledge, understanding and a big smile on my face. He's quite entertaining in addition to being a great teacher who explains things so well. :)

You can find a more affordable optometrist – Yes they smile and make you feel warm. Have a nice selection of designer brands, but then the sticker price and service afterwards are horrible. They tell you two weeks, then it is three. They get a partial order in, but don't tell you (we wanted to wait for the entire order to come in). At a large warehouse store glasses for my needs are $149 (progressive, anti glare/scratch), at Uptown you are looking at $450 with insurance. BE CAREFUL!
Uptown Optometry This is where I go for my regular yearly check-ups. It is always wonderful. The staff is very pleasant and my eye doctor is extremely nice. The facility is very well kept and inviting. I always leave happy. I would definitely recommend this eye doctor for anyone who is looking. It is located in Hillcrest.
Excuses, excuses, excuses – They seem nice enough, but it's been four weeks, and I *still* don't have my glasses. No attempts to fix the problem, just excuses. They used an incompetent lab, and do nothing but blame the lab for the delay. I wouldn't have even heard from them if I weren't calling them myself. Go somewhere else.
Outstanding Service and Staff – I lost my eyeglasses on a business trip and needed a new exam. They found a slot for me on short notice, got me in, did a very complete exam, explained the tests that were done, explained the outcome of the tests, and then helped me find frames and lens that complimented my prescription and make me look good to boot. A+++++ all around.
