Since 1985 the Uptown Grill has offered polished casual American cuisine, serving our full menu for lunch thru dinner seven days a week. We offer one of the most diverse menus in the area. Our atmosphere includes beautiful outdoor seating, screened-in patio seating, as well as a newly remodeled bar and lounge area. This is only our online availability. Our experience at uptown was very good! We had a party and our waitress was right on top of things! Our food was amazing! Some people in our party were on fans of iPad menu but I think they will get use to it in the future!

This was our 4th visit to The Uptown Grill, and as always, we had a superb meal. It's an hours drive from our home, and we stumbled upon this gem driving back from Starved Rock State Park one afternoon. The menu has a vast array of dishes, with a wonderful selection of vegetables. We have eaten at top restaurants all over the world, and this would easily compete with any of them. Just wish it was nearer, so we could visit more often!.

We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here in June and it was perfect! We had our own private and spacious room with a bartender. Our guests were given an option of different meals, plated and served and everyone still talks about how amazing the food was! The prime rib was my favorite!Highly recommended!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants even though it's an hour from my house. The gorgonzola chips are phenomenal and the steaks are great. Even the iced tea is noteworthy. If this place was in Chicago it would take a month to get a reservation. Try dinner and a show on a night when they have musical acts in their theater space.
Went there for New Year's Eve dinner, with another couple. The place was very busy, but we had reservations and were seated immediately. The service was excellent as was the food. I have a vision problem & especially liked the fact that the menu is on a tablet --very easy to read & very user friendly.
Superior ambiance, excellent service, wonderful menus and food preparation supported in whole by sharing the total experience with soul-fulfilling friends, considered more as family!
