Since 1985 the Uptown Grill has offered polished casual American cuisine, serving our full menu for lunch thru dinner seven days a week. We offer one of the most diverse menus in the area. Our atmosphere includes beautiful outdoor seating, screened-in patio seating, as well as a newly remodeled bar and lounge area. This is only our online availability. I had been really excited to go to this place and while the food was good it ended up disappointing more then anything. It was entirely to dark inside. The place was really busy with a band inside and outside making it so noisy. There were kids running around as well. We got a seat right away but didn't see our waitress for 30 min after sitting down. It then took another 20 min to get a drink. The waitress didn't seem to be in a very good mood either. My husband and I went to Uptown Grill for our anniversary. The food was wonderful, atmosphere and service were great. We will definitely be back!
Wow! Exceptional food and atmosphere. My husband and I love to come here for a date when we visit family in Illinois. It's always great, but I hadn't been there since the remodel. It's stunning.
Absolutely wonderful. I came in with a party of 7 for a late lunch with no reservation. They were very accommodating and set us up on their screened-in outside dining area. They complex and intriguing options as well as classic dishes all wonderfully prepared. I highly suggest the lamb sausage and polenta appetizer. The feta, sautéed cherry tomatoes, and soft polenta cake with crisp edges tasted great all together. We'll definitely be back.
We had dinner and drinks here after scoping out where to go close to our hotel (passing through on a drive to the coast). It was grrrrreat! Great vibe, decor, and food! The tuna nachos were a delicious knockout! Martinis were perfect! :-) Thanks!
Wonderful dinner and jazz at the Uptown's Second stage Saturday night. Sit at the bar, or tables and enjoy the great music and food. Looking forward to the next Second Stage night.
