The Uptown Arts Bar is a premier venue and platform for performing arts. Located in the hip Uptown District of Midtown, it was originally built in 1925. Over the decades it has won accolades aplenty for being the best of its kind in Kansas City. Their eclectic schedule features live music, comedy, poetry, burlesque, dance, magic, and more, by emerging and established talent. It is also a partner venue for the Fringe Festival. It can hold 150 guests and features a bar and outdoor patio.

I have fun every time I enter the energy here is spectacular
People say they support the arts, but these people put it into action. You will see all kinds of acts, bands, burlesque, and open mics galore! Truly the Hub of one-size-fits-all-moods entertainment and relaxation. You can't go wrong here. I even got a custom drink once that Jeanette christened the "Sparkle Unicorn." John Henry only mentioned Freedom in his famous quote because he hadn't heard of this place.

I had a great experience at Uptown art Bar tonight. The environment is awesome and the staff is on key. Overall I was very happy with the customer service! :) I would highly recommend going here!!
