A fun place to brouse, buy, or sell – For several years, I have enjoyed shopping and buying gifts at Upscale Consignment. The people there have always been wonderfully helpful. Great place to shop – I have sold several items here and have enjoyed the people that help you. They are great to work with and very helpful. Bargins galore, quality of furniture is excellent. Great Furniture and Service – I love having this store near my home! I have purchased dining room furniture and a TV console from them, at different times. They have great quality items, and fabulous service. I like that the price drops every few weeks, so I can pick up items at the price I like. I had some furniture delivered by them, and the service for that was fine. If you buy used furniture, and don't want to drive all over the Metro area, this is the place!
Can't Stay Away – When we lived in Oregon City we would stop and wonder around your store every weekend. We simply could not wait to see what new items were being shown. We have purchased a woman's watch, framed art work, a cabinet and a beautiful curio cabinet for our new home in Vancouver. Good Quality, Good Service – I have purchased a few items over the years for my home, our office and Mt Hood Vacation Rentals. I have always received good quality items and friendly service. The prices are a bit higher than a Craig's List item, however, I have gone on a lot of wild goose chases following up on Craig's List stuff. The photos and descriptions are accurate and it feels safe to show up at their store instead of someone's apartment.
Used Area Rug – I went to Upscale because I read the reviews on them and believed they would be comparable in price and good customer service. I had seen online a Linville area rug 5x7 that was in excellent condition, I purchased it, bought it over the phone(I live 60 miles away from their location). I went to pick it up was hassled and needed to show ID, not quite sure why I had the reciept, then waited out in the freezing tempature while it took them forever to open the doors to load. After reading this, I investigated this sale, and indeed the rug was priced too high (the consignor was not truthful to us about how much they paid for it new). Plus a miscommunication caused this customer to wait outside much too long. We try hard to make sure every customer is delighted with our service, but sometimes things just go wrong. Great Consignment Store – I have purchased several items over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. I like that their inventory can be viewed online...such a time-saver! I recently purchased a bookcase and everyone that has seen it wants to know where I found it.
