I had my first appointment today with Dr. Williams at St. Margaret Bloomfield-Garfield Family Health Center that was so lovely and affirming that I may actually start going to the doctor's regularly. I initially went just for my work physical and TB test, but they also immediately addressed my concerns about my hearing by offering to flush my ears. If you know this place is resident heavy and are ok with your doctors switching when they are done with their stint, this is a solid office. The staff is lovely and I have seen some top notch handling of difficult situations. More than some other offices, they will meet you where you are in your health journey. This cannot be said for every upmc facility.
The bad reviews here are true, they don’t care about their clients. My doctor (different than the one I chose) was rough on my body during a checkup for thyroid issues, causing me to feel lightheaded and freaked out. I was 8 months pregnant. When I said I felt like I might blackout, he didn’t help me up or into a safer position, just walked away. I got bloodwork back for my thyroid disorder in 9th month of pregnancy indicating that my medicine hasn’t been effective and receive no phone call to explain issue. I call twice and... read more
