About a month ago I was at the ER with laceration of my thumb a PA/ MD Grayson attended my thumb he was great I was inpatient an scared an I walked out of the ER He was the best clinician by far, I really want to let everyone know that I’m very sorry for my action’s,he was doing his job an he was amazing.
I was recently hospitalized. I can say everyone from the nurses, housekeepers, dietary, manager and discharge planning were excellent. I received the best care. Everyone introduced themselves any time they came in my room. It was a good experience.
The one star is for the ED only. I had to come by EMS for severe abdominal pain. The lack of compassion astounded me. It took about and hour for anyone to respond to my call bell & pleas for pain meds. Once I had to unhook myself & walk to the nurses station for help. I am appalled. This is NOT good nursing care-I a 19 year veteran nurse myself. I would never treat a patient this way. I imagine it’s unstaffed-not the staffs fault but maybe if UPMC paid more (stop giving free UPMC gear to staff-using them as free advertisemen... read more
I was waiting for an outpatient X-ray for 1/2 hour and no one came to check. I walked the hall all rooms were clean and ready but no techs. I asked staff in hallway and they checked and then gave paper to another person to check and they took another patient over me and I had to get other testing completed. 45 minutes and no one else in the waiting area. No one should wait for a simple X-ray
The ladies n gentlemen in the GI lab are very good at what they do. They all deserve a daisy award in my opinion. My memory for names is lacking but not for lack of care and professionalism. "Jeng" I think here name is shes from Korea. Not that it matters we were just talking. She's a shining example of how immigrants have made the USA what it is today.
