This is not a review of my surgeon or quality of my doctors, but of my post-operative care. The nurse who took care of me for the majority of my inpatient stay refused to do anything to stem the excruciating pain I was in from an endoscopic skull base surgery. I’ve never had such terrible head pain and while the previous nurse ultimately did give me some intravenous dilaudid to relieve the pain, since all other medications offered no relief, the next nurse, Ciara Kiefer, found that totally objectionable. Most considerate Nurse I have ever met "Sheryl", and her Team also the Drs. Where all GREAT
My brother was treated at this hospital a week ago. He was brought in on a Sunday, needed brain surgery to relieve 2 brain bleeds from a fall that rendered him unconscious and his organs were shutting down. Don't ever send your loved one here! My fiancée has been battling an infection for the past week with a fluctuating fever, and they claimed they were "busy" meanwhile there were 5 patients in the ED at the time. She waited for 2 hours only for them to check her temperature and then dismiss her. The night-shift nurses should go back to school to learn the threat that infections pose to their patients, She went to another ED today and was triaged in 5 minutes - DO NOT waste your time here.
