Im not sure how to rate my stay at you hospital. I was recently admitted for bleeding. I was bleeding enough to have to have a blood transfusion. I was admitted to the 4th floor GI. My issue isn't with the hospital or my doctors. Actually the doctors were great the hospital is a great hospital. My problem is with my nurse care tech care. My first nurse told me not to flush my toilet until she saw the amount of blood. She never came back. I did show it to the tech. He said oh ok and flushed. My next concert was my IV. I’ve been sitting here in the ER waiting room for 7 HOURS with my 80 year old sick father. According to his portal, his test results were in 4 hours ago. The woman at the front desk that checked us in (7 hours ago), was very disrespectful to my dad, so I’m hesitant to ask if we’ll be seen anytime soon.

Best hospital; best ER, best doctors, best nursing, best from housekeeping to transport. You name it. Only downside experienced Patient Relations. I was told I was being changed from inpatient to outpatient because my insurance changed it. I checked Medicare who said that was incorrect and to file a complaint. I checked with my insurance and was told again that was incorrect, the doctor and the hospital determine impatient vs outpatient. Later in my stay, I met Marilyn in Patient Relations. I survived cancer here. I had mostly very kind physicians and nurses, there are always exceptions no matter where you go. This place saved my life. When I drive past, which is often, I live a mile away. I just smile.

Unbelievable! Twice I've had to tear into administration now. For my wife's 1st stroke 2 years ago, I took her to E.R. They put her in a room and did NOTHING for 6 hours, until I walked into the board room and last my mind on a few people to light a fire under their butts!!! Now, my wife had a 2nd stroke. They will not let me in to be with her until after 10am. She's sitting in a room all by herself, and the only response staff gives is that it's the Covid policy!!! Seriously?!?!
