Horrible! Stay away! My mom had surgical complications and was life flighted to Mercy. They left her in ER for 2 hours before taking her to ICU. It took 13 hours to get an MRI. They couldn't find anything by that time, so they were sending her home 2 days later. The day I went to pick her up, there were 4 people (a dr, an intern, & 2 nurses), sitting on their asses in her room staring at her like she was a science project and my mom was having a partial seizure. Ms My primary doctor in the group was Dr. Mudge, but I have been a patient to others. This is a fantastic group! Dr. Mudge guided me through my cancer diagnosis, care and treatment and made me feel like I was her only and most important patient.
One of the best hospitals UPMC Northwest is a great hospital for everything medical. They have labs, plenty of rooms and offices, and they have one of the best medical staff in Western Pennsylvania. The only bad thing about this hospital is the service. Sometimes, the employees aren't very friendly, but most of the time, they really care about their patients needs. The hospital has three floors and a basement. Outside, you will find two entrances. One is the main entrance and the other is the Emergency Room entrance. Overall... read more
Good Doctor I have had him many times on my trips to the ER for Gall Bladder attacks. He is a good doctor. He is blunt and to the point. Some may not like that but I like that when it comes to my health.
Very caring hospital My dad spent quite a bit at UPMC in Pittsburgh Pa. He had open heart surgery here and the staff was wonderful. The nurses he had were just the sweetest bunch of people I have ever met. They were always there when we needed something and when the time came that we had to let me dad pass, they gave us the time to grieve. The nurses were very informative with funeral directors as we are not from this area. Great place to be as they really take care of the patients and family.
Best Hospital Somerset hospital offers fast service and a wonderful outpatient surgery ward. The nurses were all very caring and helpful to my husband. They are truely unique people.
