I have used UPMC services for a couple of years and had really miserable experiences. While specific doctors/staff are sometimes nice/competent, I constantly found myself being insulted or treated disrespectfully whenever I asked administrative assistants or nurses questions/asked for medical documents/referrals, etc. There were multiple times that I was concerned about a health issue and assured that it was nothing. I am very disappointed in this hospital my husband got admitted in this hospital they constantly left him in pain with a infection in his back the nurses on the tenth floor are lazy he kept asking to be moved to the chair since he is having hard time walking because of the infection this hospital does not give two craps about anyone themselves if anything happens to my hubby I smell major lawsuit!!
This is the chairs they expect a patient to sit in after going through a 6 hour surgery, imagine the bacteria that is on this thing not to mention the steel sticking out on the armrests, a complete hazard... UPMC should be ashamed!!!
One of the best hospitals in the United States. The doctors care about your health and all the staff from the nurses their aides down to the room service all are so polite. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
