UPMC Montefiore is a disgrace—dirty, outdated, and completely unorganized. The pre- and post-op facilities are just as filthy and neglected as the rest of the hospital, showing a shocking disregard for patient safety and hygiene. The staff is unprofessional and dismissive, appointments run late, paperwork gets lost, and chaos is the norm. UPMC as a whole is no better—poorly managed, unsanitary, and unconcerned with patient care. Don’t risk your health here.

I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at this hospital. From the moment I was admitted, I felt overlooked and unheard. Despite pressing concerns about my symptoms, the nursing staff seemed rushed and disinterested, leaving me feeling isolated during a vulnerable time. I went into Presbyterian ER. I was admitted to montefiore Hospital. The room was dirty the nurses were irritable. I had pancreatitis. Severe pain I spent nine days in the hospital and the doctor sent me home with five pain pills to manage my pain. After being at home for five days, I return to the hospital ER. Back to the same dirty room irritable nurses. Was released in five days still in pain. I was sent home with medication pain pills.
