After heart transplant 10/29/23. They took great care of me and physical therapy was beyond awesome
I was admitted on Aug 12th for my right foot getting snashed with s huge piece of asphault that fell outta my dump onto my foot. I was takibg to passavant where they directly loaded me up an took me to oakland. All my skin on top of foot was gone, my big toe came off and was laid sideways , my foot broken almost every bone, passavant said no way not going to even try to touch that. The nurses and doctors and care technicians on the 11th floor were great. In room dining and food service people were not. Somehow ended up on the list getting house trays sent to me so everytime I ordered i got crazy attitude from the women on the phone because I didn't want the hot food being sent up because it wasn't even lukewarm when I got it. They acted like I was being an inconvenience because I didn't want cold cornflake crusted mystery meat immediately after a major surgery. All I wanted was a light meal and they ac... read more
Incessant beeping. "Emergency" Alarms going off for hours on end outside my door broadcast over a speaker in the hallway. Takes hours for them to adress some alarms like low battery and they just let it beep in the meantime. No one moves with any urgency to clear the alarms and they are ignored for hours. Request for a room away from the speaker denied. Request to make the beeping hallway speaker quieter denied. Request for family to be here when I get my treatment at 4am which I had a bad reaction to previously, denied. At ... read more
