Great doctors, nurses and staff, great place to help residents of Pittsburgh all get 5 stars for the level of care they offered Administration of the hospital get 1/5 due to their stubborn policy not allowing a family member to stay overnight with patient if wanted, I feel the patient especially after major surgery needs some consolation from loved one but administration was heartless I wanted to leave this feedback so reasonable administration can reason the policy which does not make sense

Hospital or jail, I came in from over 500 miles, ask 8:00am to see check on him,they told me no.not till 9am,I would understand if he was in icu.family should be able to check on love ones anytime, doctor's must be good ..family needs family...
The nursing staff is amazing! The kitchen is terrible! My wife is currently a patient on 8th floor. In the last week her dinner has not been sent twice! Breakfast is sent after 930am consistently, and would be absent if the nursing staff did not call daily! When calling to order her meals a person named Mark answers and is very rude and notifying kitchen supervision does not help! If wasn't for the kitchen ineptitude this hospital stay would be excellent!
