I had to have 2 surgeries,the 1st it took me an hour to get someone to help me everytime.The 2nd time was a nightmare there was a nurse that was pulled from her regular dept. She said she was from resources and didn't know what she was doing.I was to have things put on my legs for blood clots.She looked at them said there was no machine hooked up for them to work.She never did get the machine.I never had them on my legs at all.I was to have a binder,I had it on once they took it off never saw it again.It always sounded like ... read more

I drove a friend to the hospital from Erie pa. His procedure went great. My 5 stars are going to the Brickside Eatery... Excellent pizza, I didn't expect it to be good..ya now....hospital food. Staff was great, pizza was ready in less then 10 minutes. Highly recommend you try it.

Main patient entrance to Montefiore is 1 Buffalo St, off Terrace St. Google will have you make a left onto 5th Ave to get there; don't. Go straight through light onto Darraough St., go up to Terrace St., take a left, and then another left onto Buffalo St. This is a cul-de-sac. Also, don't plan to arrive before 0430, as both garage and valet parking unavailable before then (despite what UPMC Parking says).

After heart transplant 10/29/23. They took great care of me and physical therapy was beyond awesome
