I just want to thank the doctors, nurses, and all the staff from (8b Gastro) and all the staff from check in to the cleaning staff who catered to not only my sons needs but to our entire family!!! I never had to deal with a medical issue for my child before and I was in complete awe how absolutely wonderful everyone took care of us!!! I can not thank everyone there enough for all the care and support we were given!! I got to bring my son home feeling so much better and his issue resolved! God Bless!!!🥰🥰🩹🩹🩹
My granddaughter has been at children’s several times in the past year and half. Each time discharged without a diagnosis, after several days of being a pediatric patient. This has been very traumatic and scary for her, she is missing school and she doesn’t understand all of this. She is 7 yrs old. The most recent stay we were told she needed to see an ENT, not while she was she was there for 60 some plus hours but make an outside appointment and wait weeks. My son was life flighted into Children's after an awful accident that I was also in. I was in a hospital 2 hours away with a broken spine, neck,and many other injuries. Any parent can imagine the absolute dread and hope that your child just survives then multiply it because it was actually happening. My child was in a coma for 5 days in and out of brain surgeries. On 3/7 I accompanied my client and her mother to the ER at CHP. I’ve been there in the past with another client, but this was the first time in ER. Linea and Emma were understanding, professional, and efficient. When we took her to the 9th floor, Chloe (a Pitt nursing student) was going to be the sitter…she listened attentively as I explained client’s care and the way she liked certain things. Appreciate all of you!!!
I took my son in today. We got right in, they listened to his needs, they were compassionate and kind. He has been struggling with the issue since the middle of March prior to be treated today. He is not in pain and back to himself! Thank you!
