Had LASIK in 2001, and it is still holding up. It was perfect with no side effects, and it lasted until I hit 44 when normal presbyopia kicked in.
My husband had cataract surgery yesterday and we were both very impressed at the level of professionalism and competence displayed by everyone with whom we came in contact. My husband felt the normal amount of apprehension as with any unknown surgical procedure, but any fear was allayed as the visit progressed.
