My boys recently starting visiting up and running, at the recommendation of our primary vet and Dr. Huppe has been fantastic! She is extremely thoughtful and thorough. My boys are really enjoying her visits to see her and I am so happy to have her as part of their medical team! It is so great for me to be able to have so many aspects of their medical care within the Avon Lake Pet Health Campus! Thank you for all you do for Ed & Will!
Amazing staff and place to go if your dog needs rehab! I took my lab here for rehab for years due to a neck injury! He received such great care and loved his laser and acupuncture treatments! It's like he knew when he was going and would get so excited when he would walk through the door and see Dr. Huppe and staff! His rehab here added many extra pain free years to his life and I'm thankful for that!! Would recommend to everyone!!!
Last August one of my dogs had a catastrophic accident....She fell through the screen of a second story window. Her prognosis was not good, having lost total control of her back legs, her elimination functions and all feeling in her back end. Dr. Huppe and her wonderful staff have worked diligently to get her walking again! The amazing thing is Maggie IS walking again! Dr. Huppe is nothing short of a miracle worker!! I had both my doxies go down within 6months of one another! Garbo the oldest did therapy with Jody and her great crew. Also had acupuncture and laser therapy! Flo had major back surgery followed by the same regime! And they both made a full recovery! Thank God for these wonderful angels and Dr. Huppe!!
Can't say enough about the work they do for animals in need of special care. They treat each pet as outfit was their own --much TLC.
Our lab, Emma, has two artificial "knees". She loved rehab and the people at Up and Running so much that she has been going every Tuesday for 4 years. Emma waits at our door every Tuesday morning so she can go to puppy camp and see Jody, Mary Beth, Brittany, Dr. Huppe, Dr. Latowski, and all her buddies. How can I forget Butler? Up and Running is a very special place run by dedicated people.
Over the last three or four years, I've had three old dogs in rehab. One had neurological problems and two had old-age arthritis. Rehab gave these dogs the strength to have a good quality of life much longer than otherwise. The staff became their favorite people outside the family. I feel so lucky to have this facility within an easy drive from home.
