Typical University This college is like your typical big college. They do offer a variety of course studies but there is nothing personable about the classes. They have these huge classes and at the beginning of the class the professor tells you look around because you won't see half these people towards the end of the semester. I think that if you want to get to know your professors or want to have extra help this is not the college for you. I think it depends on your style of learning. Great All Around Degree I received both a undergrad and grad degree from UW Milwaukee. Both were obtained by top notch professors, excellent and knowledgeable in their fields. As you advance, the classes are smaller and more specialized, with much more one on one teaching from the professors and teaching assistants. There are plenty of resources to help you get a high quality education at a great price.

Financial Aid not much aid! I applied to attend here while living with my parents. By the time I did start attending, I was married and pregnant. I attempted to apply for financial aid and was told "We cannot help you. Your parents make too much money". I explained that, since the time I had applied (beginning of my senior year), I had gotten married and was pregnant. They still refused to help me because "my original application did not reflect that." I changed my name, address, and financial status in their records, and th... read more
