Best hospital in the state!! After being in a traumatic car accident this hospital took very good care of both my fiancee and me. As I said from the beginning "If any place can fix him, its Upstate" and they did; he will be on his way home soon!! Upstate treated us like family and has the kindest most informative staff I have ever seen!
Was in car accident, 8 months pregnate and just visiting,these Drs saved me and my son.Had infertility treatment there in '93 and' 94. The Drs were great back then. Just had Acl reconstruction from a Dr who graduated from there. He's rated as one of the top 20% orthopedic surgeons in the country. And I live downstate.4separate incidents, 4different Drs,Many years apart. Same bedside manner.
Each part of the hospital is a different experience. :) Its like a small city in the city.
SUNY upstate medical center saved my life, even though my right leg had to be amputated, I could have died without the doctor's knowledge
Had orthopedic surgery all of my nurses were amazing, extremely attentive and very compassionate.
On September 26, 2014 I was in a severe motorcycle accident. I was rushed to upstate university hospital where I receive the greatest of care from the orthopedic team. They saved my life and my leg. All the doctors and all the nurses are fantastic. I have been back there over the past two years a number times for more surgeries to correct my injuries. I have no problems with these people. they are great. I would suggest upstate university hospital to anyone who is seriously injured or ill.
My thirteen year old had surgery there on January 19th and we couldn't have asked for a better place to bring her.Not only are the doctors highly regarded the whole staff was outstanding,right down to the workers at the little cafes.What a great and professional place this is.Thank you each and everyone of you for making our stay a welcome one.Definitely the place I want my child or any family member to be.
After my son had his pyloric stenosis surgery done at the children's hospital they were so awesome before and after the procedure giving both of my,kids alot of attention even tho my month old son didn't know the different they were very helpful they were very respectful and most of all made sure we had everything we needed for my son I would recommend the children's hospital to anyone with a child who needs help.
