If I could give negative stars, I would. The entire department - especially billing, seems stuck in 1850. No email or notification, just snail mail that shows up a month after any system update. Make it make sense! What a shame, time for them to pack it up.
AVOID this place at all costs! They send accounts to collections without any warning, no mail, no text nothing. Honestly, someone’s bound to sue them eventually. Since moving to Knoxville, it’s been one chaotic medical facility after another
I never even went to this place. They charged me for a cat scan I got somewhere else. Somehow I mistakenly paid for half of the bill they sent me. Now there seems to be no way to contact them and talk to their billing service. No answer and directly to a disconnected line when you call any number associated with this place. This seems like a scam, or at the very least they do not allow you call and fix mistakes. They now might owe me money and are claiming I owe them the rest in mail. Very, very, very frustrating. Really stupid and ridiculous billing practices. This place sent me one bill- I called in February when I received it and let them know I can set a payment plan up but need to wait until I return to work after a major surgery in May.. I called when I returned and they sent it to collections. They never sent me any notice after even though I paid a portion of the bill and wrote on it to please send an updated statement. DO NOT USE THEM!!! These people are HORRIBLE!! They do not want to bill Medicaid and asked we seek a charity organization to pay for their service instead of billing Medicaid. My husband is dying of brain cancer and she just kept saying that he should apply for a charity that can pay his bills. Seriously?! Rea is the person we spoke to. She wants us to bilk the system so she can make her quota. UNCONSCIONABLE!!
