I had a very nice tour given by knowledgeable people. They managed to show us a lot of the campus and had no problems answer all my questions. I got to see all the academic areas I was interested in and talk to some of the facility. I also learned there are lots of ways to relax and take a break from studying too! I'm very excited and can't wait to apply!
This is my current college and till this year I was happy with it. Till people are being forced to be vegan for a symposium, told what they can or can’t wear. a person gets a ticket for gun carry, while in a group of other people all carrying. This is Wyoming this isn’t suppose to happen. I will be seeing if I can finish my schooling else where as well as send my children out of state. Won’t be getting my hard earned money if this is how it’s going to be going.
UPPER LEVEL COURSES FOR MOST MAJORS ARE PURPOSFULLY SCHEDULED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER SO THAT YOU HAVE TO STAY FOR MORE SEMESTERS AND TAKE MORE FILLER CLASSES TO GRADUATE. DONT FEEL BAD WHEN YOU TAKE 12 YEARS TO GET AN UNDERGRAD DEGREE, THEY DID IT ON PURPOSE TO MAKE YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY.
I liked U Dub when I went there 60 years ago. But it has changed an awful lot and I am not sure about it now. We have had a series of Eastern Presidents who have tried to turn the College into a liberal eastern college. They have forgotten that Wyoming is a Land Grant institution for Wyoming, not for New York. I am very proud that my granddaughter, Kaylee (Nelson) Morrow graduated from U Dub just a while back. I am a dedicated Cowgirl fan and former member of the Cowboy Joe Club.
School itself is good, but until the nursing program fixes the issue with the physiology professor failing ~50% of the nursing students, I won’t recommend the program anymore.
