There is something very wrong going on at your university if you have someone called the Director of Diversity posting comments that demonstrate a deep distrust of people different than himself or herself. I was concerned about the students mounting a protest for a speaker which I think is missing the opportunity at university to engage with people with different ideas. What UW, the UW Board of Directors, and apparently the Wyoming Governor's office has done to Rudy Gunter concerning the Kenny Sailors statute is despicable and unethical. As a UW alumni, I am embarrassed for the school and the current administration!! To lie about the situation when confronted with questions certainly shines a light on the lack of integrity and ethics of those UW representatives involved! Completely disgusted -
University of Wyoming shouldn't even be considered a D1 university. If you are looking for a quality education, diversity or even a stable learning environment, UW is not the college for you.
Did a prospective student tour with my daughter. Beautiful campus- super friendly staff. It will be hard to beat their theater department in our search!
