Our primary care providers and specialists are incredible. The adult ER experiences and preventative measures when dealing with infectious diseases are terrifyingly bad. Something needs to be done to help them become functional.

My husband has only received excellent care at UVA. All of his doctors, heart, eye, urologist, dermatologist and transplant surgeon have been great, as well as the other medical staff.
My ex-husband is in this hospital right now and getting ridiculously poor care! He went through a 9 hour surgery, and NONE of the nurses check on him or even give him the pain meds he's supposed to get every 3 hours, he had no monitors on, and NO ONE gave him his feeding tube and it's been almost about 22 hours since his surgery. My daughter is on it, though, and refuses now to not have someone by his side 24 hours a day, since we can't count on the nursing staff do to their job. TRYING SEND MY FATHER TO YOUR HOSPITAL HAS URINARY TRACK INFECTIONS AND VERY BLOOD INFECTION WE WILL SEE IF YOU CAN HELP HIM.
I had a Kidney Transplant late last night and as always every doctor and nurse are the nicest and most professional they could be. Love this place.
