I know these are all based on opinion, but I can't say enough about the positive experience we had at the new clinic in Fulton. We loved the new facilities and absolutely eveyone from the concierges to the physicians were fabulous. In 2003 we had a terrible experience at the U. I opted to have my transplant at another hospital. Once I found out the U's post-transplant medication suggestions, I immediately switched. Fearing another awful experience, I was reluctant. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the U of M Medical system. We are so fortunate to have these talented and caring professionals in the Twin Cities! My Dad was referred to the U when they found a mass pressing against his brain. As a team they explored surgery various options before coming up with a brilliant plan (abbreviated version-remove mass through his nose and fill void with dissolving cellular foam). Very disorganised, medical staff won't answer my chart messages and Dr isn't returning my call. I put a mychart message in on June 13th and still haven't heard back yet. Wondering if going to the Mayo is a better option. Very dissatisfied. So if subpar care is what you want. The U is your place.
I had 2 kidney transplants here (the latest one January of 2016) and each time the nurses and doctors were exceptional.
By far my worst experience ever at hospital, doctors listen as well as your average two yr old, definatly research your options before going here, the ipads do not replace good old conversation , and i dont believe they look at the info anyway. And dont expect any info to be past along as you get shuffled around from specialist to specialist, Dr Patterson was good , but never heard anything back about the tonsilitis, the Vets at U of M are amazing, wish i was my cat

Horrible clinic!! the new m clinic and surgery center on fulton street is just disgusting. I made my appointment 4 months ago. We I arrived the valet had one lane open and it was bumper to bumper to try and get in. After waiting and waiting I finally gave up and parked in the oak ramp and walked.
