Where do i begin... i called day before our visit to get insurance straight and we get here and its not right! Then the nurse asked my 15 yr old 6ft son if he was born in 2013. Does he look 5??? Then we go for xray and were told tell desk when we came back so we don’t have to wait. So we did!! The girl was like ok. 45 mins later i go to desk and ask how much longer to other desk lady. I was referred to KEC by my local surgeon after having a 3rd retinal detachment in early February of this year. He sent me to Dr. Lieu, who is fantastic! He is knowledgeable as well as very personable, answering any questions I have. Unfortunately, due to PVR, I had to spend another couple hours with him in the OR just 2 weeks ago for a peripheral detachment. That's why I can only give 4 stars today. What a beautiful facility!
Normally we have a great time here, loved everyone til our last apt, the tech that worked with my son was so impatient and rude (he’s autistic) told him repeatedly if he’d just do what he’s told it would be done by now,she was extremely snotty and short with him. he’s a 5 years old boy, you dilated his eye and then shined a bright light in them, adults turn there heads at this process. After the doctor came in he was able to do the exam on my son no problem. I don’t think she should work with children. And hopefully we will ... read more
