I suffer from severe lower back pain. I was referred to Dr. Sarantopolous at the UM pain Management clinic. I thank God because this is an AMAZING physician. He is my favorite doctor. He is a great listener. He cares about my problems. When one treatment modality doesn't work, he suggests another. I feel that - no matter what - Dr. Sarantopolous will be there for me to treat my pain. I cannot understand how anyone can have anything negative to say about this awesome physician.
Called to get a prescription recommended by a Dr. Patin. They kept putting me to different people and have no documentation of my call. It's been over 72 hours for what should be a 2 minute conversation and view of my file. This could be life changing medication and they're twiddling their thumbs.
The 2 times I’ve been to these doctors they were yhe worst experience I’ve ever had. Went to see a neurologist in 2021 with disc herniation and pain he said nothing he can do. It’s 2025 today the woman I saw At pain management said it’s gotten a lot worse and now I have Bone Spurs too. They can’t do anything they can prescribe me gabapentin which I don’t want and they don’t handle injections at that facility. Called for appointment on August. Only appointment available was in late December. Pain management? Living with pain and needing help right away and not getting it. This place is a joke for offering help to people with pain. Felt they had so many prerequisites and absolutely little interest in helping with ones pain. :(
