Absolutely would not recommend this sleep center to anyone unless you have obvious severe sleep apnea. For those who suspect they have a sleep disorder especially a more "mild" condition for whatever reason, look up controversy surrounding sleep scoring criteria AASM 1A and 1B. Dr. Glick told me that RERAs (respiratory effort-related arousals) are no longer considered clinically significant by the AASM which is why they don't score them in this lab. Very professional staff and a very beautiful and clean office.
I waited months for my intake appointment. Upon arrival, the reception was unsure whether I was in the right place. I was. 5 minutes later I was greeted by Alicia who welcomed me kindly and took my vitals and did my medical intake. I was then asked to wait for Alexis, the provider. I could hear a woman on the staff side of the door ask Alicia to heat up her lunch. I'm sure that's not part of her job; how rude. I waited for nearly 45 minutes without being seen. I left. I went to the Sleep center in the Tower UMMC The new building, 800 Linden Ave, 7th floor. I saw Dr. Diaz-Abad she was kind and understanding and listened to my concerns. She made sure I had my follow up appointments and didn't rush to get to the next patient.
