The worst hospital in the world, no one knows anything, it's like a hospital with many clinics inside, they don't give you the correct information and one person tells you one thing and the other tells you something different, I had a terrible experience.

Me and my boyfriend went into the emergency room only to end up with straight disrespectful nurses and lazy ones at that and I mean very lazy sitting in the corner huddled up laughing instead of attending to patients. Their attitudes are highly disrespectful as this is a job for people who care about others well being and that whole shift last night didn’t care abt not one patient they should all be gone due to the fact they don’t have the heart to be a nurse or doctor! i’ve received excellent care outpatient from the doctors and nurses at UMDB, however my March 10/11 ER visit was not consistent with that experience. the waiting areas were FILTHY and I had to sign myself out of an admission that i desperately needed because the floor was covered in urine and the bathroom was painted white but the walls and floor were black with dirt. There was visible feces and food spilled, left from previous patients. I asked for a patient advocate and a cleaning crew did arrive. I did receive an apology.... read more
