Our son was there to have laparoscopic surgery. We cannot say enough about how awesome we were treated! From the second we walked into the door up to the moment we walked out, 100% professionalism! Dr Joel Shilyansky and his surgery team took great care of our son, and his recovery time was less then expected. We travel to U of Iowa very frequently, and always receive great care! Just an amazing facility I have no words to describe it!
We see Neuro, Orthopedic, Vision and Oral surgeons...Great doctors who helped get us established quickly after moving a year ago and even knew our doctors from St. Louis. Walking through the hospital, staff are always helpful to find your way. I would recommend this for anyone with children with special needs.
The Drs there are amazing. My son was diagnosed with malrotated intestine at 2 wks old and they treated his problem the best. At 15 months old, he has no problens and is a very healthy little man. Thank u for all that u did and the support.
