It's a shame a great clinical team has to be dulled behind an administrative and front desk team that is rude, incompetent and useless. Those women behind the desk couldn't be more apethetic or miserable. Maybe they should seek some treatment from their employers. Puts a real stain on the organization and what they're trying to do.
It’s hit or miss here. My doc is fantastic, while my son’s doc does not seem to grasp or actually listen to what he has going on. This is my son’s 2nd psychiatrist as an adult with ADHD autism, probably 5th or 6th in his life. Once again, he feels as if he is being blown off. I just had who I presume is the office manager explain to me that my son has to discuss changing psychiatrists with the psychiatrist that he is uncomfortable with. Why? They don’t care about you or your well being! Don’t recommend
I was very nervous going in since this is my 3rd psychiatrist. I was also worried how it would be since it is a learning center. The staff at the front desk were very nice and down to earth. My doctor listened to everything I had to say and you could tell she was extremely engaged. She covered everything and even made a treatment plan that works best for me! I have never been treated with such compassion in the past. Hands down the best office in the area! These guys really know what they're doing!
Dr. Pilat is first rate. He has the latest knowledge in the treatment of psych issues. He gave me ample time since this was my first appointment. He had a treatment regimen in mind for my unique situation. His clarity around me as the patient was very reassuring.
