I LOVE UCONN! Dr. Alkass in women’s health has been my OB/GYN for 11 years and I could not be anymore happier. He is highly professional and extremely compassionate about his patients. When I gave birth in February 2020, Dr. Alkass made sure to visit me and asked about my experience as a patient. Not only that, he continued to follow up with the attending OB during my labor and postpartum care. Disgusting Place. Dr. Cory Edgar is a disrespectful, dangerous doctor. He hurt me badly and I have permanent nerve damage to my dominant arm. My arm was paralyzed for 6 months, then he went in to take plates out and he broke my collarbone on purpose, then sent me home with a broken collarbone, then blamed me for it.. He will face his Karma soon. Now I hear he is coughing and hugging his staff during a pandemic. He don't deserve to be caring for anyone and have his license revoked. I was diagnosed in with MS, at 51, in 2017 and have been treated with Copaxone, Tysarbri, back to Copaxone, Ocreveus . I had relapses while on Copaxone. Ocreveus did not help me. I was in the ER for over 2 hours on Saturday morning. They think if they hide you in a room that you won’t complain. My hand was very swollen and painful and no one offered me an ice bag or even checked on me until I was 30 minutes away from discharge. They assigned a doctor that didn’t come on duty until an hour after I got there. The employees were all on their cell phones. It was my left hand and my intake was for the right hand. I use Storrs UConn health as my primary care and I like them, so when I felt awful back in January I though that the urgent Care in Storrs would be good too. However, it definitely was not. I went UCONN health Storrs urgent care for what turned out to be a sinus infection, although I had to go to another urgent care in the area to get the help I needed.
