My husband was diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma in March of '03, dying from the brain cancer on 6/22/22. He wanted to gift his body to the medical students of UAB for their ongoing studies. The staff of the Anatomical Donor Program are amazing to work with. My husband's final gift is completed now and he comes home Friday. Yes the program has requirements and everyone isn't a candidate, but I encourage to consider the program.
Wow. Surly, short, unhelpful. They don't accept donations of your loved ones unless they were in perfect shape when they died?!?
