Amar A. (University Group Employee???) I think amar a. works for the University Group. He made two posts in two days with basically the same comments and in a manner that a real estate agent would use.
106 E. DANIEL - GREAT APARTMENT! 106 E. DANIEL - GREAT APARTMENT! Me and my 3 roomates lived at 106 E. Daniel for 2 years in a top floor 4 BR townhouse. We had a great time and were just down the street from the Quad. Weekends sometimes got a little crazy, but the building was back to normal by monday morning. I would recommend this building.
great place to live! The best college living experience that one could imagine. Spacious and clean apartments at reasonable prices. Centrally located to all major centers of campus and the surrounding areas. Friendly and courteous staff that are always willing to help. Maintenance requests are always taken care of promptly and correctly the first time.
University Group is WORST THING U CAN DO TO URSELF!!! They are the most incomeptent group of people i Have ever met. The apartment was in shoddy condition when I moved in...i had to go out and buy a steamer to clean the couch and mattress because they refused to replace it..i cleaned the whole place before and after...but they took out over 300 dollar from my deposit of 400. They tried intimidating me when I tried asking for invoices....i got mugged at their place..i went into my apartment to get away and the guy had no prob... read more
Horrible. By far the worst management company in Champaign. Horrible maintenance, overpriced. Both apartments I rented from them were filthy with bugs. Their staff was awful.
Most Repulsive Realtor in Champaign! University Group is by far one of the worst realtors in the Champaign-Urbana area. They have horrible customer service and are rude to all their tenants. They are arrogant and therefore think it is below them to help their paying rentees with maintenance and financial issues. They issue eviction notices without reason, charge for extraneous phantom reasons, and leave customers on hold on the phone for extended periods of time. One of many happy residents!!! I read other reviews on the internet about the University Group and they are 90% bad. My experience living with the University Group was a very good experience. I wish more people would take the time and write about their good experiences. I know all my neighbors enjoyed their apartments also. Yes I moved in early and had to take my apartment as-is, but that is what my roommates and myself agreed to. University Group is the worst Landlord in Champaign These people are terrible. It takes them forever to get anything done, they make CPM look good. The apartment we moved into was filthy they do not come and fix things in a timely manner, do not rent from them!
