SCAMMERS, LAZY, UNETHICAL, LIARS! They will spread False information about you to other tenants, will charge you for things that they didn’t do (such as painting, cleaning) and are just plain money hungry. They need to be SHUT DOWN, NOW!
great place to live! The best college living experience that one could imagine. Spacious and clean apartments at reasonable prices. Centrally located to all major centers of campus and the surrounding areas. Friendly and courteous staff that are always willing to help. Maintenance requests are always taken care of promptly and correctly the first time.
University Group is the worst Landlord in Champaign These people are terrible. It takes them forever to get anything done, they make CPM look good. The apartment we moved into was filthy they do not come and fix things in a timely manner, do not rent from them!
One of many happy residents!!! I read other reviews on the internet about the University Group and they are 90% bad. My experience living with the University Group was a very good experience. I wish more people would take the time and write about their good experiences. I know all my neighbors enjoyed their apartments also. This is the WORST living situation on campus and that is saying something! I HATE LIVING HERE!! The only positive thing I have to say about University Group is that I have made it through the first six months of my lease! I could go on for days about all of the awful things UG has done during my time with them. Everyone I have talked to about living with UG has hated it. Don't waste your money because they will be SO nice right before you sign your soul over to them.
Amar A. (University Group Employee???) I think amar a. works for the University Group. He made two posts in two days with basically the same comments and in a manner that a real estate agent would use.
Horrible. By far the worst management company in Champaign. Horrible maintenance, overpriced. Both apartments I rented from them were filthy with bugs. Their staff was awful. PROS: None. CONS: Everything- price, staff, cleanliness.
106 E. DANIEL - GREAT APARTMENT! 106 E. DANIEL - GREAT APARTMENT! Me and my 3 roomates lived at 106 E. Daniel for 2 years in a top floor 4 BR townhouse. We had a great time and were just down the street from the Quad. Weekends sometimes got a little crazy, but the building was back to normal by monday morning. I would recommend this building.
TERRIBLE MONEY SCAMMERS DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! As usual they will keep whatever money they can from your security deposit. They charge you for cleaning even when you have cleaned after you left. They charged $138 for cleaning when that place was near spotless when we left. Any marks left are because of the age of the building.
